The History of the company Franz Nüsing

On 10.06.1878 the Franz Nüsing company was founded as "The Westphalian Billiard and Blind Factory" At the beginning of the 19th century, production of roller blinds began.

2011

• Production under licence started in India.
• Purchase of further office space in Borkstreet.

2008
Nüsing celebrates it’s 130th anniversary.

2007
Introduction of EASYmatic®.

2003
The folding wall Flexi wall was added to the product range. Production started in China.

2000
Extension of office space into an additional building in Borkstreet.

1995
Introduction of DIN EN ISO 9001 quality management system. Product range increased by the addition of glass movable walls. Production also started up in the UK and Switzerland.

1985
Extension of the office and production areas by about 3000 sq.m. up to about 12000 sq.m.

1979
Legal separation of the companies into Shutters Nüsing GmbH and Franz Nüsing GmbH & Co. KG.

1976
Relocation of blind manufacture.

1971
Nüsing developed the first movable walls with individual panels; these are still manufactured in Borkstreet, Münster.

1970
Nüsing moved into the offices and factory in Borkstreet.

1969
Nüsing widened their product range with artificial leather folding doors.

1922
After the end of the First World War production of billiard tables was stopped and Nüsing started to manufacture sliding/folding doors.
